As a photographer, I live for the in-between moments. The flicker in your eyes when you forget the camera’s there. The way light dances off your skin when you turn just slightly out of frame. The unexpected glow when we throw convention out the window and just create.
Your portrait shouldn’t be confined to a mold—it should break it. It should breathe. It should whisper something about you that no one else can imitate.
That’s why I don’t go into sessions looking for perfection. I’m not chasing symmetry. I’m chasing truth.
I work with light the way a painter works with color—carefully, intuitively, and always open to surprise. I might paint light across your face using long exposure techniques. I might bounce reflections off mirrored tiles, play with prisms or crystals, or shift the color using gels that turn the ordinary into something cinematic. Sometimes we use strobes. Sometimes just a single continuous light and a whole lot of patience.
What matters most is that it feels authentic to you.
|I want your portrait to feel like a moment you’ve lived before… or one you should have. I want it to have a heartbeat.
And here’s the thing I’ve learned over time—people don’t always see themselves clearly. We’re so used to seeing filtered versions, cropped moments, carefully posed shots. But when someone finally sees a portrait that reveals something real, they pause. There’s this quiet moment of recognition.
“That’s me.”
That’s what I’m after.
So no—you don’t have to pose a certain way. You don’t have to smile if you don’t feel like it. You can move. You can be still. You can bring your edge, your softness, your curiosity, your boldness. Whatever’s true in that moment—that’s what belongs in the frame.
Whether we shoot in-studio, on location, or create something abstract in a space filled with light, mirrors, and imagination, your portrait session is a collaboration. We’re telling a story together. One that’s honest. One that reflects your layers, your essence—not someone else’s idea of who you should be.
Photography, for me, isn’t just about taking a picture. It’s about making something timeless. Not in the traditional sense, but in the emotional sense. Something you can look at years from now and still feel.
So if you’re someone who’s never felt at home in front of the camera… or if you’ve been waiting for a chance to be seen on your terms—I want you to know, this space is for you.
Let’s make a portrait that doesn’t follow the rules. Let’s make something that feels alive.
If you’re ready to create something bold, soulful, and unlike anything you’ve had before—reach out. Let’s explore, experiment, and bring your story to life through light.
